« IMMUNITY CHALLENGE II - THE WINNER! | Main | IMMUNITY CHALLENGE III »

GOOD BYE

Okay, I'm a bad host. I admit it. But gimmie a break...I didn't get out of bed until 11! Okay?

Anyway, here's how the voting went:

*****

Helen's vote: Jeff

That's right. Sorry, Jeff, but it has to be you. See, it's a competition of supporting the womenfolk, and supporting Munuviana. So it had to be you. Besides, I was never really sure of the "Big Stick" issue. I mean, you seem really, really fixated on the big stick. Are you sure it's the stick you're really after? Are you sure you are not projecting your other...um...issues onto said stick?

Emily's vote: Jeff

My vote is for Jeff. He's simply too good. He got immunity last week and
missed it this week by a tiny margin. If I don't vote for him now, I may never
have the opportunity again. So, Jeff, I bow down to your superior slogan and
song-writing-grovelling skills, but it for exactly that reason I must vote for
you.

Jim's vote: Jeff

I don't think this will be much of a surprise. Leaving aside the joke about the demi-lizardoid minions, Jeff still has to go. He's too consistently up there on the challenges. He walked away with the first one and came within a couple votes of winning the second one. In fact, if Helen's entry had been a single iota less profane I bet he would have immunity right now. That's a threat that I have to move against.

I'm casting my vote against Jeff and hoping that a majority of my opponents recognize the danger and vote likewise.

Sorry Jeff. You're doing too well for me to let this window of non-immunity close.

LeeAnn's vote: Jeff

I vote to evict Jeff from the island.

Jeff, with his not-so-secret army of demi-lizardoids, is too much of a threat to leave unattended. I've found in the past that stalking a demi-lizardoid commander is a full-time job, and none of us have the time.

Therefore, it's for the greater good that I must vote for Jeff to leave, even though he has that big stick.

Jeff's vote: As if it matters...I mean, Jim

I have a feeling that things may not go to well for me this week. [Nothing gets past you. -ed] Shouldn't have won immunity that first time. Scared everyone. Oh well.

The traffic from the survivior site has been really good for the 'ol blog. Thanks Don.

Anyway, onto the vote!!!!

Helen - She won immunity. She already had immunity this week in my book though.
Emily - I'm going to sing to her sometime, if she asks me to.
LeeAnn - Made me laugh a few times this week, although her Immunity
prowess doesn't seem to be having much luck.
Jim - Has been alternately sneaky and helpful... he's the X factor.

So, I vote for pylorns.

Oh yeah.... wait a sec. That was last week.

Alright, well, I feel bad about it, but my Father would approve:

I vote for Jim.

As one of the last upholders of the chivalric code, I consulted the Golden Tablets that are jammed behind my hypothalamus and decided that it wouldn't be polite to vote for a girl this week, especially since they've all been so nice and generous, etc. Sorry Jimbo, but it looks like you'll be mighty busy with the King of the Blog tournament, and won't have time for us Survivior pukes.

I'm only crazy to all of YOU nuts.

*****

So, that we'll have to say goodbye to Jeff, who must now pack his bags, leave the island, and send me his parting comments.

Am I an evil genius or just luckier than hell? I'll let you be the judge, just don't pick the one requiring intelligence.

But no matter how it happened, I am now the only man on a virtual isle with three lovely ladies. This make me either the luckiest or most pitiable creature on earth. With these three particular ladies I could be both at the same time.

I go now to plan the campaign of flattering and pampering that I shall wage against my delightful island beauties.

Bye, Jeff... sorry, but everyone has to go sometime.
My husband keeps telling me this, apparently it has some kind of hidden meaning.

Posted by: LeeAnn at November 21, 2003 01:20 PM

Jeff said such nice things to (about) me. And in my voting post, I didn't suck up to him as much as the others since I had lost my job.

I feel terrible. Jeff, I am so sorry. Really. I am really, really drunk too just now, but I am also sorry. Seriously.

I think Jeff should get to continue with the immunity challenges... his were so good. Oh, maybe if I pay him I can get him to write mine for me?

Posted by: emily at November 21, 2003 02:42 PM

Hey, all is fair in love and Survivor!

Posted by: Don at November 21, 2003 02:44 PM

Guys: You're all great. I never could have been elected ex-island member by a better bunch. And don't worry, you'll still have me hanging around, and I read most of your sites daily. And I just had my first Frankalanche today, so I'm on cloud 9. But I really do love you all, and I almost voted for myself just to see what would happen...

'Specially Helen and Emily. You guys were cool the whole time. Although you're both like 10 years older than me. Actually, if any one of you can guess the month and year that I was born, I'll give you my vote for the finals.

Just e-mail me with your guess =)

Posted by: Jeff at November 21, 2003 03:05 PM

And at least I got voted of for being too good.

THat's why I can leave with a smile on my face =)

GOING HOME THIS WEEKEND TO WATCH THE OHIO STATE GAME GO BUCKEYES WOOOOOO!!!

Posted by: Jeff at November 21, 2003 03:09 PM

That was a bogus vote! How how can Jeff lose for being too good? You guys a evil, pure and simple!

Posted by: The Bartender at November 21, 2003 04:44 PM

Ah such sweet music to my ears... actually I bought the votes from everyone to vote you off jeff... ok well maybe not, tough luck, you sit on the bench with me...

So when exactly is the next immunity assignment supposed to go up. The schedule says last Friday.

Don?

Posted by: Jim at November 23, 2003 07:50 AM

Yeah, next week is holiday week (Thanksgiving). Should we put Survivor on hold a week, or...?

Posted by: Helen at November 23, 2003 05:41 PM

Helen- You mean we haven't taken a break for a week?

Posted by: emily at November 24, 2003 10:40 AM

Methinks the weekend elements need removing from yon schedule. And perhaps Master Don could email us the assignments on the Thursday or something like that.

Posted by: Jim at November 24, 2003 11:21 AM

Well he needs to post the Immunity regaurdless.

Posted by: pylorns at November 24, 2003 01:02 PM

Um, so has anyone heard from Don? Missing, in the hospital, dead?

Posted by: emily at November 24, 2003 02:52 PM

I'm here and yes, I know, I suck. I'll get everyone up to date in a few. Sorry!

Posted by: Don at November 24, 2003 03:15 PM

a few being?... a day? two days?

Posted by: pylorns at November 24, 2003 06:09 PM

Come on, dude. We're sensing a certain lack of commitment here. It's a bit of a drag.

Posted by: Jim at November 24, 2003 06:15 PM

Jim, yeah, sorry. I'll announce the third immunity tomorrow with an updated schedule...and this time I promise...NO MORE MISSED DEADLINES FROM DON!
