« After technical difficulties.. | Main | Victor Says so long... »

There comes a time when you have to leave..

Jimmie Says:

This week, I'm voting to evict...

Victor.

My reasons:

Well, I only have one - the one my spiritual brothers in la cosa nostra would have called Good Old-Fashioned Retribution had they grown up where I did and spoke English.

So, Victor, you would have voted me off last week had I not won the Immunity Challenge? I know you were there, laying in wait for the chance to get me again. But like a poor marksman, you keep missing the target! I laugh at the superior intellect. It was you Victor...You broke my heart. You broke my heart.

*kisses Victor once on each cheek*

Lynn Says:

I'm voting for Victor this time around. He's a worse loser than I am...Always whining about not getting any votes and the infinite quality of his writing.

"Four freakin' votes for the only immunity challenge that thought outside of the box. And, I must confess, three of those votes were mine!* So, it seems no one wants originality. No one appreciates a different sound, a new meme. Kerry-Bush, Bush-Kerry, blah, blah, blah--but it's what you want."

It's sad, really. Later, Victor...

Lemur Girl Says:
It wasn't too hard for me to decide this time. My vote goes to Victor, despite him being a fellow MuNuvian even that tie isn't string enough to keep him on the Island. I have my reasons though:

1) He says himself he never gets any votes on the immunity challenges so why should we let him stick around?
2) He has a habit of correcting other peoples grammar. As resident English Language student i feel like he is stepping on my toes somewhat and i don't like it.
3) He appears to have an insect obsession... nuff said.
4) I can't think of a 4th right now but i wanted to make it a nice number!

So yes, that's it. I'm sorry Victor, i know you're a great guy but the linguistics war was getting to be too much!

And finnally..
Victor Says:

Next one off the island should be...Me. Yep, I'm throwing myself onto the fire. Jumping ship. Committing Hari-Kari. Beating feet. Cheesing it.

I'm quitting.

It's really quite simple, you know. In Dizzy Girl's first chat, I asked what Blogosphere Survivor meant to the other contestants, and explained that, to me, it was basically a writing contest.

Well, my writing here sucks. I finished dead last in all of the challenges (the first one notwithstanding because Jeff didn't submit anything). If I were a detective, I'd call barely beating a dead man A Clue.

Or, I can also blame the voters for not giving me any votes. It doesn't matter to them that I THOUGHT OUTSIDE THE BOX! I WROTE ABOUT SOMETHING ELSE! DID ANYONE NOTICE THE LINES PYLORNS FORCED ON US WERE BOTH A BEGINNING AND AN END WHEN I USED THEM? NO!!! YOU VOTERS DON'T WANT ORIGINAL!

No, y'all want talent, and mine is sorely lacking against the competition on this here island. If the challenges had been about cicadas or rats or the DC Metro, I'd be King of the Freakin' World, but it's not, and so, I Must Take A Powder. I'll miss y'all. I'll even miss Miguel's (raaah!) poopies.

Unless someone else is voted off the island, in which case I'll crush y'all beneath my thumb as if you were ants.

With that, you are the weakest link. Good bye Victor.

This might well have been the only truly unanimous eviction ever.

I think that should count for something.

Wow, that's a first. Survivor hari kari.

We'll miss you Victor. Oh and I think Miguel (raah) may have left a lil something for you on your laptop case... *ahem*...

Y'know, that challenge of mine looked pretty out of the box, too. In fact, it looked almost like Vic's.

Victor, my seppuku-committing mate, see you when we're done. You were fun, you were a worthy challenger, you were Fredo. We'll grab a coffee in DC soon, eh?

Victor:
I can't believe you voted for yourself! I can get you a good deal on some "Survivor Aftermath Therapy" if you need it.

Posted by: Lynn at June 25, 2004 06:42 PM

"Survivor Aftermath Therapy"="cheap beer" right? Cool.
