Bonus Points

I'll be posting links to the sites that have gone for bonus points. Emily posted the first one, here.

Next Up is Jim with his entry for bonus points.

Ok, time is up, I did not recieve one from Helen, but I did get the last entry from LeeAnn here.

Judging will be done by the voted off survivors, myself and Jeff. We'll let you know tomorrow. As far as the remaining schedule goes, here is what I have.

Tomorrow 9am (cst) [3pm Stockholm] There will be one last chance for bonus votes added to your Immunity. I call it the Blogger Survivor Time Challenge (tm). I will pick a topic and you will have from 9am (cst)[3pm Stockholm] when the topic is posted until 12pm (cst)[7pm Stockholm] to email me your entry. I suggest posting your entry in the comments section, so it's time stamped. This is the catch, the first person done wins. To ensure that no one sends a one line entry, the entry must be at least 250 words or several paragraphs. Winner gets 5 votes added to their Immunity total vote.

12pm (cst)[7pm Stockholm] The Immunity Challenges will be posted and voting will begin - the immunity challange is from Don's original post - what you should do to punish him. If you would like to change it to what you would like to do to punish him because he left survivor and left me in charge, you can resubmit, just as long as I have it here before 12pm (cst)[7pm Stockholm] tomorrow.

Friday 9am(cst)[3pm Stockholm] Voting will be over, Immunity winner announced. Voting for the next person off the Island will be due before monday morning.

Monday 9am(cst)[3pm Stockholm] The next survivor will be booted, and the looser will provide us with thier farewell statements.

Jeff, I need your prevous one so I can post it.

Update edited for Sweden Time.

I have to say, I am really confused by all the new rules, my head hurts, everything is time-stamped for U.S. time (which makes it impossible for me) and I think it's best that I start the backstroke from the island.

So please remove me and keep three contestants-Jim, LeeAnn, and Emily. May the best one win, and I know who it will be since I am psychic (that's psychic, not psycho).

No! You can't leave, Helen. I'll only have 2 lovely ladies on the island then! I have earned 3 lovely ladies, dammit!!

Posted by: Jim at December 3, 2003 01:16 PM

Helen, rules haven't changed, just extra challenges. The times are pretty much the same as they are from the due dates etc of the previous times. You are online right now, I don't see an issue.

Helen, if you don't stay, Emily will have to be the lone sex goddess and it's just too much pressure to put on her.

Posted by: LeeAnn at December 3, 2003 02:27 PM

Yeah, I need someone to share the bikini duty. Oh, and since there were 24 hours to submit a bonus entry and it's been way over that now, does that mean I get the 5 extra points? Huh?

Posted by: emily at December 3, 2003 02:38 PM

I forgot what my parting statements were... so i'm going to send you a new one. Gimme a bit.

Posted by: Jeff at December 3, 2003 03:02 PM

Emily, bonus winner from the first bonus will be announced tomorrow. You, Jim and LeeAnn submitted bonuses.

Posted by: pylorns at December 3, 2003 03:10 PM

Actually, I'm the only one that submitted an entry within the 24 hour deadline.

Posted by: emily at December 3, 2003 03:13 PM

Uh oh, she's watching the time guys... looks like the money you paid me under the table isn't going to be enough to rig the game! J/K . Everyone got their entries in.. just about the time. I was lax on it.

Tomorrow's Challenge, first post, first win.

Posted by: pylorns at December 3, 2003 03:19 PM

So, Pylorns, does this mean your rules and deadlines are really just "guidelines" and we really don't have to pay any attention to the schedule? That what you mean by "you have 24 hours" is "whenever you lazy ass people can get around to it"?

Can I submit a 250 word bonus entry tomorrow consisting of "This is bullshit x 247" and I'll win, considering that you don't care about content as much as quantity and speed? If so, yipee, I'll go ahead and draft it now. I'll have that in to you by 9:01 a.m. CST.

Glad to know the game is going to have a higher level of consistant quality with Don gone.

Posted by: emily at December 3, 2003 03:29 PM

No it means that I'm just working on it as I go. I'm learning to fill the role as a host. I didn't care as much about the time constraint on the last one. So yes it was a guideline in a sense. This is just for fun, but I wanted to do something unique. Tomorrow I want to have a time constraint on it; it keeps people attentive. Now as of late you seem to be the most attentive, but I'm hoping that tomorrow we'll get everyone submitting their articles. Its a game, its the first time any of us have done this. I do have more time on my hands than Don to manage the game, so I will.

Emily, did you just watch pirates of the Carribean?

Posted by: pylorns at December 3, 2003 03:52 PM

You trying to imply that I'm being cutthroat or something?

Posted by: emily at December 3, 2003 04:31 PM

No, but I did, and I remebered the quote from Gregory rush about the pirates code, and he says "they are merely guidelines"...

Posted by: pylorns at December 3, 2003 04:50 PM

I'd just like to say at this point that I thought Jack Sparrow was hot.
I'm like an attention-deficit homing pigeon... I see one phrase (Pirates of the Caribbean) and zoom, right to it.
And Emily, cutthroat is a GOOD thing. :)

Posted by: LeeAnn at December 3, 2003 06:06 PM

You could always post all times in GMT ... then you're all screwed, apart from me and mine ... heh heh heh

Posted by: Rob at December 3, 2003 07:21 PM

No seriously. You guys go on without me. I think this game will be very cool under the very attentive and capable management of Pylorns (and that's not sarcasm, I mean that), but to be honest, I JUST HATE having to vote people off. I mean, I've liked all the contestants. If it was Kim Du Toit here or something, it would be much easier. I just feel bad about voting people I like.

I'm a sucker. I know it.
